Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

It's weird how a lot of people, family and friends, don't give much of a shit if you passively consider suicide, but as soon as they are even vaguely aware that you are actively attempting, all of a sudden it's a huge deal and they care so so much and they offer all kinds of stuff like companies offering incentives to people who want to cancel their subscriptions???

Also, how fucked is it that people and governments think it is ok to force other people to live against their will? By denying peaceful means of euthanasia to people with permanent and severe pain and suffering, for example. I mean yeah if someone has any doubts then by all means try and persuade them to live, but if it is a person's clear, confirmed, continuous will to die... where there is no doubt and hasn't been for some time... why force them to live and suffer instead? Because you need to continue to force yourself, I guess?

This really angers me. I wish we had the choice. But there is no way to understand without being here. IMO. We're screwed, we're never getting this option

If a person dies, that's one less person working, one less person having children, generating income, one less person incurring hospital costs, legal costs, etc.

Therefore, in society, it is very costly when a person dies.

In psychological terms, suicide is very risky because it shows other people that committing suicide is possible and valid, since if someone realizes that life is not worth living, others will also realize that life is futile.

That's not necessarily true... That one person might already be very disabled and out of work, unlikely to have children, not generating income etc.

It's also costly for many people to stay alive. Think about how much we consume.

As long as someone is alive, there remains the potential,
That's not necessarily true... That one person might already be very disabled and out of work, unlikely to have children, not generating income etc.

It's also costly for many people to stay alive. Think about how much we consume.

While a person is alive, there is a potential and possibility for that person to generate something, whether intellectual, financial, or otherwise. The world views us merely in terms of utility.
And yes, we are heavy consumers; that's precisely why the system wants us alive: to keep the economy spinning. And of course, I believe conditions like depression are treated... just to turn people into viable surplus.
I don't speak English, so I'm translating, so what I write may sound strange.

And they start acting like they won't be relieved... please... at LEAST some of them will be at LEAST partly relieved!!!

Also, it's weird how people think suicidal people are void of all hope.

I have lots of hopes!!!
I hope I get hit by a bus going over the speed limit!!!
I hope the world ends tomorrow!!!
Et fucking cetera!!!!

Yep... people love to guilt trip you out of it, but actually the reason a lot of people commit suicide is sometimes because staying alive would be harder/more depressing or miserable for their 'loved ones' or close ones.

Also I am beyond envious of some celebrities and other fuckers who CTB on their first attempt with a belt and a door knob or some shit while the rest of us struggle for months or years to find a way, and they make it look easy, like WHAT

I really understand, forcing people to suffer in this torturous, futile existence is such a horrific crime, it's horrifying really how anti-suicide people want to do all they can to make it so the torture of existing continues for as long as much and as long as possible, it's just so criminal how access to painless, guaranteed death is denied, all these people do is cause so much harm and suffering, it's just extreme cruelty how they do all they can to imprison others in this existence even know it's not theirs, to suffer in this existence truly is an abomination to me and I always suffer so much from being imprisoned in this horrific anti-suicide world, every second is torturous to be conscious.

That's so true actually. Like- you can be suicidally depressed but not depressed and suicide. I think often though, it's because a person's mental state isn't obvious. So- when we say we're struggling it's like- well, we all struggle. That's the 'normal' you should be prepared to accept.

I wonder if that's why people sometimes find self harm scares disturbing. Because they are so viscerally visual of someone in mental pain. They simply don't want to see that.

Not that I do self harm severley- I'm too squeamish but- imagine if the suicidal/ depressed walked around with cuts all over their faces? Like Hellraiser.
