Discussion those of you who want to ctb and be found, what are your plans?

I've been thinking- and I KNOW this sounds fucking insane- but I really want to hang myself in the park with some manifesto about how suicide is a human right and that people who are suicidal should frankly be able to take their life in the most humane way possible. I don't think that only terminally ill patients should be the ones with access to this, I think if someone wants to kill themselves they should have a way of doing it humanely. I also like the idea of hanging myself in my room, or overdosing.

On my first read, I was visualizing the "hanging tree" situation in Hunger Games. I just wanna go and be gone ASAP without a funeral or anything, because life goes on, ya know? But I love making a statement out of it :)

I don't think intentionally traumatizing people to make a statement is a good idea. The whole reason people are pro-life in the first place ultimately comes down to fear of death. Like any fear, sudden and unexpected exposure will just make that fear worse.

To actually answer your question though, I am hoping to be found by police because they are the only ones who are actually trained and expected to handle it as part of their job. I don't want my family to see me, so I refuse to CTB at home. I'll probably go to a secluded area or a hotel room, in which I will put a sign somewhere visible (and where my body is *not* visible) that says "Suicide, please call 911" or something like that.

My preferred death is honestly never being found and dying surrounded by nature. However, I don't want to risk being found half torn apart by wildlife and having that information shared with my family, even if they don't technically see it.

This is a good idea. If I ever do ctb, I'd like it to affect as few people as possible, I might do something like this as well. Thx for the idea!
