So we've been at this apartment for 3 months, this last month we have hit a snag, I said we'd pay, my roommate said we'd get it this week.
The landlord files court documents and says we broke the lease. He won't wait for the money on Thursday. So now I'm scrambling trying to figure out what to do.

Honestly part of me just wants to die right now, the stress is immense and there's nowhere we can go after this except possibly hotel living but I don't want to do that again.

Like there's a piece of me thinking just burn myself alive with the apartment, I have no immediate access to sn in the US. My hope at getting a temp job fell through.

Is sntrate as effective as sntrite?

I just want to give him the money and move on with my life. The waiting is killing me, I don't want my record ruined because of one month and I'm scrambling for everything. Even for other apartments but it's slim pickings just incase I don't want to go to homeless, I'd rather die first.

I'm sorry to hear.
No.
If it were, everyone searching for nitrite could just buy nitrate. And they could leave their nitrite open & exposed to the air, because it wouldn't matter that it would be turning into nitrate. And nitrite would never expire (over time it turns to nitrate).

Darn thank you.
I'm trying to look for other methods as I already sold my firearm months ago.
I just don't want to lose everything I've worked for.

What about your roommate? You can't go wherever they go?
We can try but we'd both have an eviction on our record, there's my brother who isn't on the lease. All of this would be fine if we just get the money tomorrow, heck, we'd have it this week. I just don't understand why he's being this ridiculous. I mean I guess I get it. But, we haven't skipped out on paying him at any point before.

Have you spoken with an attorney? Some places have free eviction legal help. It depends on what state you are in what rights you have or don't have. Did you get a court date yet?

Does your landlord have any way of knowing your brother is staying there but isn't on the lease? Because, depending on your state, sometimes being behind of rent can be a curable lease violation, but moving an additional secret tenant into the space may be harder to "cure" if your landlord knows. This all depends on your local laws, and the smart thing is to try to find free legal help if it's available.

No he doesn't, I'm in Ohio. I'm looking at a legal aid, I fill out some papers that can stop or delay the process.

I called them actually. They're trying to see what they can do, my job also has a hardship program that's trying to see about intervening. I hope it works in time.

Did he take you to court and have a hearing, idk what the laws are in Ohio but you have to go to court first to get officially evicted. There have been cases of tenants living over a year without paying rent because it takes so long. It's interesting I see this, I literally just made a post. I also have an asshole landlord, I think ctbing in the house would be iconic.

Is there a court date? Make sure to show up if there is. CTBing in the house won't piss of the landlord who will be glad that eviction costs may be reduced. The landlord is only thinking about eviction costs, that's it.

It's important to show up to court because if you're about to get agency help, a judge may or may not take that into account depending on the rules of the area. There are also things that could be done depending on the local rules, like asking for the hearing to be pushed further into the future because you want the director of the hardship program to testify and he or she be more available in a few weeks (this may not work at all though, and maybe they always rule on that first day, i have no idea and an landlord/tenant attorney in the area would know), and you really want to check with an eviction clinic to see what your options are.

You should also be aware of the eviction move out date and if you can afford to rent a storage locker and gym and move some stuff ahead of time, then you could keep stuff in storage, live in a shelter, and search for work at the library. It's better to not be evicted, of course... but in a worst case scenario, you'd at least have a place for your stuff and could shower and shave and look nice for any job interviews you get.

I hate this feeling. I was behind on rent. My apartment manager was kind. But it'll never happen next time. I'll CTB before any delays. I don't even know if I can keep going.

I'm pretty sure that's an inconvenience and traumatizing for anyone. At the least I want to irritate and annoy him. Property value might decrease because of a death in the house. It will make the tenants downstairs who are also assholes uncomfortable. Idc. It would be a superior asshole move to evict my family after their daughter died in the house. My goal is revenge and to make him feel the most uncomfortable.

I'm still gonna do it either ways. Cuz gotta CTB sometime.

Even so, eviction takes time and my family will just simply have to find somewhere else to live. They'll receive my death insurance benefits.
