I got re-established with my p-doc, and then I got myself established with a new PCP.
Went from 0 meds to 6 new meds! Some of them are for physical issues, others are for mental issues.

I don't know, I'm grasping at straws here. I want to get better. I'm going to start therapy(again), and hope this time its effective.

I value my behavioral healthcare, and I'm really hoping this time it will be different.

Grasping at starws is whats needed to finally to recover maybe finally u will be able to grasp something real. I can only guess but medication can be quite helpful in my own situation it didnt helped me but i can only guess it was wrong drug but only time can tell if they help you. All that matters is that u want to get better and its most important and i also hope it will work out for you this time. I wish u the best in your recovery. Much love and good luck

proud of you op - all you can do is try, and it sounds like you're trying your hardest!

new meds can be scary, but remember to note down any side effects in a daily journal (you can easily do this in a note taking app on your phone) so you can see trends. this will help your docs know what's working for you, what isn't, and what might work better for you if you need to switch.

going into it with a positive attitude also helps, in my experience
