I don't think I'm a genius by any means. But being on the internet has really illuminated for me how dumb people are and how little they think about the consequences of their actions. But the worst part is how grand a scale this is on. We are talking worldwide idiocy here. The reckless and unconsidered decision to procreate happens 1 billion times a day with people of every religion and culture. There are so few of us that have figured out it's OK to just say no to childbearing

it's fucking depressing how dumb this species is

Procreation is biological and happens in every species. I have a hard time saying humanity is stupid for something like that. It's kind of a two sides to the same coin argument. It's okay to not have kids. But it's also okay to have them. You can say no, someone else can say yes. What's dumb about our species is our lack of a prehensile tail, imagine the things we could do.

I've thought this too! I think it would be awesome to still have a tail. Might be painful lying down though. I doubt journeys on packed transport would be fun either.
I suppose I find war and nuclear weapons the most stupid. Although, realistically, who would just stand back if their country was attacked? I suppose I just find war depressing and a reflection of our horrible, aggressive, greedy, hateful nature. But, nuclear weapons? The race to invent and then produce them- Yipppeee! Guess what everyone? We now have the means to make us all but extinct! What a great achievement.

The freedom to exercise choice is what is great. I respect people or friends that want to have family and at the same time I respect people who don't.

I, personality, never got the joy of life, faith in "humanity", and desperate need to bring more children to the world, but many others obviously do. But I don't think I'm right. I'm broken from the start. So, for me, Godspeed to those enjoying life and having children (hopefully responsibility)
