• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Its strange. As an atheist Im not afraid of death. Honestly I see it as peace. An end to everything. Finally.

But life Im afraid of it. The chaos. The feeling that nothing I do really matters. The people around me living on hope that theres a plan a purpose something after death.

I dont have that hope. And I dont have that comfort.

So Im stuck between being afraid of the life Im living and being completely ready for a death I dont even understand.

Is that normal. Does anyone else feel this way. Not that you want to die just that theres nothing left to hold onto.

As an atheist I also see it as peace but it's just the process of dying itself that makes me scared. Iam also worried about my parents and who will support them in their old age after iam gone. Leaving them behind feels cruel. We have some property, we basically get our rental income from there. If iam gone nobody would be there to inherit the property and it will probably go to my uncles/aunts. Which I don't like because my father worked to buy that, and those people have only shown us bitterness.

Religions thrive off the fear of death. Most people are scared of dying and enjoy their lives. They hope that when they die they get to see their relatives, pets, partners, spiritually ascend, whatever else. When you're not scared of death because you know that it's just cessation, life becomes all there is. And when life is meaningless and cruel, you start preferring the serenity of death.
