This one for sure. It's from the game Hello Charlotte. I find this soundtrack to be insanely beautiful, mix with melancholy and dread. If I were to wrap what I think it's about in a few words, I'd say: "the final tragedy".

It was technically unused, but my favorite song ever is Dreamy Pilot. :) The song that replaced it, Alice Maestra, is also super good and better fitting tho~ hehe~

I like all soundtracks from Subnautica and even more soundtracks from Subnautica Below Zero, but there is one song from same autor what actualy isn't in Subnautica OST, but i would like so much if there would be this one. ↓

Those who play first Subnautica imagine this song in the blue gloving giant cove tree cave, it fits there perfectly. :)

I got tons but I can only remember one game right now. I also really liked the bgm at the lounge area (cant find it), back then I would spend an ample amount of time just idling there and listening before doing the quest. I forgotten the tunes now, still I remember really liking it.

The first video game I think of is expedition 33. I dont know French, but the soundtrack is hauntingly beautiful

Not my favorite but the most impactful probably was:



I used to turn on my save file on the GBA, run to Verdanturf Town, and leave the game on while closing my eyes or crying in bed. Even then, it felt really nostalgic and saddening/comforting. I would let myself wade in the emotions and sink into the bed, wishing it'd swallow me.

Same with this one.



Just really beautiful to witness after the long, long journey that is Paper Mario on the N64. The fireworks, the atmosphere... The OST wrapped up everything so well.

Ofc, there are a lot more OSTs from newer and more current games to mention but I treasure these two a lot.

Absolutely the Journey soundtrack. The music tells the story of the game all by itself. Never made it through a listen without crying by the end.


Also anything from the Myst series but the theme to Revelation is my favorite
