Well, change of plans guys.

Tonight my parents gave the talk and basically my dad's tired of my NEET Shenanigans and wants me to go out and apply for jobs, school, actually get my license so on and so forth. Instead of being stuck at home all day. I'm 24 years old. And honestly here in America I think I'm more likely to end up homeless. So if that does happen or if like I get kicked out of the house, I would like to have a way on-hand for me to end it all. It'll suck if I have to leave my young dog behind, but I mean past a certain point it's out of my hands. I'd rather die now than live the rest of my life in complete poverty. I don't see a better future for myself.

I wanna know what method would be:
- Easily concealable in a closet or a drawer.
- Not pricey. My current budget is like 200ish max.
- Preferably not painful and slow.

Would ingesting all of my ADD Meds (Guanfacine) in one go be a surefire way to die?

Well you're in America and you're old enough to buy a handgun so your best bet would be to save money to buy one (assuming you aren't disqualified from owing a firearm).

Wouldn't I need a license? I'm not a felon or anything though. I live in Nebraska for reference.

Yes in Nebraska you need a permit to purchase a handgun. If I were you I'd look into Nebraska's gun laws. I own a firearm, it's a long gun (a carbine rifle) and I had to get a license because I live in New Jersey which has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. I plan to buy a handgun when I turn 21 but I'm gonna have to apply for a separate permit to be able to purchase a handgun. I don't think Nebraska's gun laws would be as bad as New Jersey's, I don't know what the procedure is. You'd probably have to pass a background check but you would have to pass one anyway in order to buy a gun regardless because of the federal background check at the point of sale. In New Jersey to get a permit you not only have to pass a background check but you also have to pay a fee, go through online training, get fingerprinted, and have two references vouch for you. I doubt Nebraska is that strict.

It's a pretty red state so I imagine the laws aren't that strict. Hell I've been able to attend 88 Tactical and other firing ranges where they'd let me rent handguns to fire at the range. Expensive as hell though, but if I reeeeally wanted a handgun that'd be the way. I'm 24 so I could do it though.

It'd be a closed casket funeral but if I wanted to surely die, I'd use a saw off shotgun instead of a handgun because there's less room for error I've heard. That's how one of the Columbine shooters died and the dude's brains were everywhere in the crime scene photo. I bet he didn't feel anything either because you can't really feel anything if your brain is mush. Just lights out the moment he pulled the trigger, got off too easy given what the bastard did.

Only problem is they're harder to obtain.

Yeah, him. I have mixed feelings on the guy, as well as his accomplice. Cause on one hand I can understand why he did what he did to a certain degree. I can relate because I've been a social outcast when I was in school. I got bullied (not the same extent he did), I've had issues, I've fucking hated the world back then and still do today. It sucks how mental healthcare was basically in it's infancy when he was alive, hell it's bad over 20 years later.

But at the same time he is a murderer who shot a bunch of innocent kids in a premeditated attack alongside his accomplice. And even intended to bomb the school and kill way more, only for said bombs to fail. Their only regret when all was said and done was that they didn't kill enough people.

However I don't fully buy into the narrative of Harris being this big bad wolf while Klebold was this soft, suicidal sadboi who was coerced/forced into the massacre. If anything, Klebold was the one with more friends, more money (IIRC), and was more adept at manipulating people than Harris. Better at "keeping his cool" so to speak.

Despite what he did, I can't help but wish that maybe in another timeline, the dude would the help he really needed and choose not to go through with the massacre with Klebold. That maybe he'd see there was more to life than picking up a gun and shooting a bunch of people with it. Especially people that were virtually unrelated to what he went through at CHS.

But hey I'm talking on a fucking suicide forum. I'm not sure what that "more to life" thing is for me and I'm talking about wanting to leave this life behind. So what do I know?
