im starting in 19 days an im scared .
im going to be 2900 miles away from
family and unless i can make it a full
semester without killing myself that
means i wont ever see them again. i
dont wanna die alone . but i feel like

Such experience might be helpful to become independent, or destroy you by becoming alienated and locked in your room.

I'd try to make friends and spend time with others, but that's not always an easy thing to do. I did try to reach out to others, but I never felt like I belonged or was needed. Achieving this would have been helpful for me, but I didn't manage to do it, despite trying.
