Why Me?

I've realized now, that my life has been a life of slavery. My abusive homelife created a pattern of addiction and submission to others. Narcissists kill. If there's another life after death, may it be a good one. Toxic people in this world ruined it for me. I'm not able to escape the karmic reasons for my personal problems, not now. I can only try to do good for the short time I have left. Hopefully I can spend my life looking for answers now, instead of causing troubles. I pray for peace.

There are two kinds of slavery - the one that we have no control over and the one where we do. Like drug addition; we (theoretically) have the power to escape it.

Just a question; if you told everyone who ever mistreated you to go fuck themselves how would you feel?

I pray for peace for you, too.

Making a break can be useful. Childhood abuse causes two types of problems. There are negative things injected into the developmental process, but there are also positive things that are left out. Just as the person who has been through a car accident may require physical therapy to regain as much functionality as possible. You want to avoid bitterness or other emotional traps that can hinder your own recovery. You might find a self-help group or therapy to be a way to start a healing process and see how much functionality you can recover.

Yes, therapy and 12 step groups are helping. Definitely working 💪 to regain my freedom. It's a hard road. Thanks for the feedback.
