Is it worth trying the sodium nitrite method if I buy it from a regular dietary supplement store? In my country, SN is available from several retailers, who claim the product is 99% pure. For my part, the only way I can test it is by mixing it with blood, but as far as I know, that method isn't very accurate.

Plus, I'm not sure I'll get a second chance—if the first attempt fails and I end up in the hospital, it will be much harder to do a CTB in the future, and a failed attempt could significantly worsen my existing health problems.

Is a blood test and the seller's description of the product enough, or should I only buy it from trusted sources (which is probably impossible in my country) and conduct special tests using a test kit and sticks?

You can get by without testing if it's from a source that has already been tested by users here. Still a little risk, but I'd be more comfortable knowing it's already been tested.

The overall recommendation is to always test your source if you have a means to do so.

Thank you. I can't verify the source at all because there's probably no one in my country who has tested it.
The only thing I have is what the seller told me—that it's 99% pure—and the other option is to do my own blood test. Do you think it's too risky to use it based only on this information?

And where can I find sources here on the forum where people buy it?
