oh my god this is so good!!!
is it power from chainsaw man or zero two from darling in the franxx? or is it someone else? I just named 2 characters i think she looks like
My most recent art piece I'm proud of is my avatar I use here. Here it is in bigger mode. It's a composite piece made up by elements found online, like the black and white stencil of a butterfly. and the sky background, and an image of a galaxy, all fused together with some lighting effects.
Here is my character, I made him so I could learn how to draw guns and vehicles better in action scenes for my story idea. I ended up getting attached to him, I'm a way I also feel less lonely when I see him, he's like a friend I've always wished for when I didn't have anyone.

started learning drawing last march as a coping mechanism, it gave me something to do when it felt like nothing else mattered after i deciding and planning when I'd ctb. it was a good distraction at first, but it slowly started to feel like a chore. i thought as i got better maybe i'd start enjoying it or feel something from it, but that feeling never came. it just made me realize, i don't have anything i'm passionate about drawing, nothing i actually care enough to put on paper as it all feels fake. I guess it makes sense, art is a way to express yourself, but i don't really feel connected to anything emotionally, so there's nothing to express. I really wanted to fit myself into a box of "artist" as i wanted to develop some sort of an actual personality and improve my social interactions with others. i like the idea of being someone who draws, but the act itself feels empty most of the time. Most of the drawings I've done, i end up forcing myself to draw just to avoid thinking about how disconnected i am from it, and from everything else too. oh well.
I went through my older sketchbooks and found this sketch I drew 2 days before I attempted. One of the only pieces of Art I have never shared elsewhere

I used to commit to graphite near exclusively. I was still practicing skulls for fun using a plastic desk reference, and it had a removable cap. I was going through a lot at the time with feeling overmedicated on things that weren't helping me and were often making things worse. So the practice sketch became something more personally expressive. It's one of the last decent graphite drawings I managed to do before I became too anxious to draw in pencil.

Vent art from weeks ago. It's a made up character, made up situation, and experimented a bit with the effects.
I really like the fact that the bucket tool didn't fully color the character, making the background slip through the transparency.
