You should put this onto Bandcamp and Spotify. You can self-release it onto cassettes or something -it sounds really good.

just found this thread. everyone is so talented :) usually i just draw silly anime people, but here's a painting of my cat i made somewhat recently. it was my first time ever using soft pastels so it could be better but i still like it a lot

I haven't really shared things publicly before, and I've only just started trying to write my own songs, so really, thank you. I'd want to get a better handle on recording/producing before 'releasing' anything.

Also @thelittleprincess those lyrics you posted above are beautiful -- if you play guitar, have you put them to music? If so I'd love to hear it, absolutely no pressure though.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I do, and I have. This is kind of an old recording and pretty messy, my voice isn't great and the chords are really simple, but I don't have the energy to rewrite or re-record it and this is the only version of it i have (also you can hear me start crying a little at the end, embarrassing)

That's a beautiful song, the lyrics are powerful and you have an incredible voice. Thanks for sharing. You're a talented songwriter.

GarageBand includes "tails" when exporting audio, whether it's delay like on that synth, reverb, or just an instrument ringing out. I don't know whether there's a setting to disable it; in Logic there's a checkbox upon exporting
I don't think the other thing is intrinsic to exporting, maybe just a randomized parameter within the synth patch which happened to produce that. Maybe real time playback and offline rendering could create a difference although that'd be quite odd
