Already barely hanging on by a thread, I'm doing my usual walk to work in the dark cause I gotta head out so early. Guy stops his bike right in front of me and starts walking back to a container on the bike. Thanks to my paranoia I fear he's gonna pull a weapon out and I run like hell out of there. I already feel ashamed running from something that probably wasn't even a real threat, but I call my boss and tell him I'm gonna be late. I wanted to wait till the sun comes out to try again. Dude starts yelling at me about how much I'm screwing him over just for being late. God damn is life exhausting and cruel.

Life certainly is very cruel, there is already enough suffering in the world without other people making things worse. I'm sorry that you went through this.
