The Darkness Awaits Me

I mentioned on another thread that I wanted to bike a trail in Maryland, then hike onto the Appalachian Trail from there to my final spot(wherever that may be).

I told a friend of mine what I wanted to do (minus the suicide part), and he offered to drive me there so I can do it.

So now I'm in the process of figuring out what I need to take just for the biking part. I already have some gear, so I have a little headstart.

In mid March, I will be in Maryland and will stay at a hotel for about 2 weeks, then head out. I just want to make sure there is no incoming snowstorms for at least a week.

This is kind of a bittersweet moment, as I know how this story is going to end, but at least I accomplished the last thing I wanted to do.

The image is the trail I will be biking for about 6 to 7 days. I could do it faster, but I'm in no hurry.
