Is it not possible to delete a delayed post?

I made a delayed post recently and planned on deleting if things don't go as planned. It was basically a goodbye post.

But due to various reasons, it didn't go as planned. So I deleted the posts, but it still went out. It was extremely embarrassing. I was really angry and drunk when I wrote it.

Then I made another test delayed post and deleted it and it still went out on the schedule time.

Am I doing something wrong? Isn't that the point of a delayed post? It gives you the ability to stop it from going out if needed.

You can scroll all the way down the the bottom of every page and there'll be a "Contact us" option. Maybe try it and ask the same thing. They would be the best ones to ask.

I see that these comments are now hidden. I replied to your initial comment, but when I hit reply, it has three "hidden content" comments from you. I'm not sure what they said before. Did you delete them? Or maybe do a delayed comment?

Yeah so I was able to delete the post after it went out. I hadn't logged in a couple days and then when I did I saw I had a bunch of comments on a post. I was mortified. And I believe it allowed me to delete it then. If you're unable to see it then it properly allowed me to delete it. But that was after it already went out and saw by everyone.

We can delete it, but for future reference, you have to click the "Cancel Publication" button, not just "Delete" on the post.

I wish I would've known that before. lol. I would've thought "delete" would accomplish what I needed. But thank you very much. I'll keep that in mind for the future.
