He wins, he can do what he wants, whenever he wants. I've no more fight, energy, nor will to live anymore. He keeps apologizing but I can't take it anymore, his apologies have no meaning and shall fall on deaf ears, for I will not be listening. I hope he is happy with what he has decided for me, come the new year I may seek other arrangements, death, for I have been made the help of my own house and I cannot bare it any longer. What makes me a wife has been stripped away and hopefully will find another. I fear I may be dramatic but, my feelings are big.

Survival depends on finding an environment (including people) that is at least neutral. A toxic environment can poison your soul. It is necessary to escape that which harms so that one can have the control over oneself to build a life that is satisfying.
