In hindsight anyway. I think she might have taken SN.

I've spent all 30 years of my life living out of sheer spite. Being angry and self-righteous is way easier than maintaining a happy, comfortable, self-funded will to live. As it turns out, following in my mother's footsteps is a fate worse than being tortured by life, so I'll be clinging to existence by my fingernails until something out of my immediate control kills me. I learned a lot from you guys, though. I'm glad I joined and I'm sending good vibes to everyone who chooses to ctb, and to those who choose to stick around a little longer. Shit's hard out here.

If I ever get back on that suicidal grind I'll (most likely) pop back in. But my mind is pretty made up at the moment-- hopefully I keep to this conviction for longer than the next few weeks; wanting to die is pretty par for the course, but preparing to ctb is no longer in the cards. The future is full of spooky potentials and I am nothing if not an anxious wreck! But y'know. Spite.

Being able to disconnect from the past can be a good skill. It often allows the freedom to experiment with new choices.
