I forgot how miserable my hometown is

Not even been back for 24 hours and already I'm realizing how exhausting it is to be here. I'm in the suburbs, and a 20 min drive away from anywhere interesting. The nearest bus stop is 3 miles away, and even if I weren't too disabled to walk that far, the walk is completely unsafe (no sidewalks, 40 MPH road). My mom and sibling have cars, but they also have jobs and can't be driving me everywhere. Also no money for Uber. I don't have many friends here, and the ones I do have don't own cars. So I'm just stuck. Unless I can find some random Grindr or Bumble person willing to drive me places, which I would then have to at least pretend to be interested in fucking them to do, I'm stuck. When I say there's nothing to do around here, I mean there's NOTHING to do around here. We have one decent park within walking distance and that's about it. Gonna be a very miserable 2 weeks... fucking kill me

I also lived in the suburbs and like you described it it's just this very isolated and boring place to live nothing is accessible and nothing is interesting either
but if you're bored you can try reading or watching something at least it can make time go a little faster

The suburbs suck so bad. I technically live in the suburbs in my college town, but it's a 20 minute walk from downtown and actually has things happen because ya know, college town. These suburbs just suck. I don't get how people are happy here with nothing to do. I've been watching a couple shows and sorting through my old books, but everything still feels really dull. I wish there were a fuckin bar around here at the very least.
