How long would you be awake without a heartbeat via a firearm to chest

Just curious on how long one would be possibly conscious if they somehow oriented and pointed a 12 gauge to their chest I can't get over the image of blowing off my own head not for me I don't think. If all else fails maybe SN or partial hanging if I continue to repeat the cycle of SI and wanting to go.

Assuming you don't immediately pass out from the pain of a coaster sized hole in your chest, it could take up to three minutes for the blood loss to do you in, although you'd probably pass out immediately after the shot and if not that a minute later from the blood loss

I think it could be near immediate. .32 ball baring could go through the heart. Depends on the damage just like the head.
