I already said this in another thread but I literally just typed in "suicide forums" on google and came across the Wikipedia page for SaSu.

Kinda crazy how easy that was, as much as I'd love to have more good members. I worry that this forum becoming to much in the public eye will be a bad thing.

i was on tumblr and someone said something about the church of euthanasia, found the term interesting and was reading their website, there was an article or something about ASH (or ashers, people from altsuicideholiday), found the term interesting again and searched for it and i learned about sasu

How did you first hear about / find your way to SanctionedSuicide? (2nd poll)

Please select up to two choices. The 1st edition of this poll was posted a little over half a year ago. Given that the site is currently getting a lot of attention due to the recent BBC article, it was thought that a new poll would be more representative of recent and current members.

funny enough, it was from tantacrul's video on the forum, watched his videos and particularly liked his video on corporate music and criticism on cowboy chords on the guitar, it was a bit of a surprise to see the thumbnail of the SaSu "exposé" the anime pfp telling you to "do it" on my recommended constantly but i just ignored it up until i decided to give it a look. the guy literally showcased the site's layout, gave it the name "Sorrow Solution" but still kept the double S and even described identifiable slang like CTB in the video. both curiousity and my own suicidality lead me here.

This is literally exactly how I found the site too.

He didn't even try to hide the true identify of the site, I thank him for being so careless.

I was messing with the Wiby search engine and ended up coming across a website dedicated to the Usenet newsgroup alt.suicide.holiday. I thought a.s.h was a facinating piece of history and the site mentioned SaSu as a modern incarnation of the pro-life ideology that a.s.h promoted and that's how I ended up here.

I was using a search engine to find information on reliably committing suicide. By hanging I think. I don't remember the specifics since it was a while before creating my account. One of the results was a thread on this site, and I've had it on my mind ever since. I've never seen any videos about it, but I did seek out a few news articles right before signing up.

Was looking for pro-sh forums and found this, decided to save it in my "search later" folder and decided to join because people here seemed relatable, nice, didn't sugarcoat anything and suicide was the main topic lol.
