Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've thought about getting an hotel/airbnb but I'm broke and I'd feel very uncomfortable knowing that would be where I'd CTB. I just feel so much more comfortable in my home.

I love my family so much and I don't want to cause them any more pain, but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Do you think they could move past finding my body? Or would that traumatize them permanently?

It would definitely traumatise them permanently. I had a friend who found her dad's hanging body and it destroyed her. She wasn't even that close to him. This is a dilemma that I've really struggled with too, but I've recently come up with the idea to just do it in a park in the middle of the night. One that you're very certain no one will wander into within an hour. I went to a park once in the middle of the night while I was having a breakdown, and it was very dead, no one around. It's an unconventional location, but I don't have a lot of options. Also, most convenient of all, there's even playground equipment sturdy enough to hang yourself from if that's the method you choose.

Damn. Yeah between that anecdote and reading people's experiences on r/suicidebereavement, I see that hanging at home is a non-option. We'll see what option I do end up choosing cause I'm at a loss
