Welp I alked to my dbt doctor and she said to give it a go

So I basically did some self reflection, contemplating the pros and cons and talked to even chat gpt (pathetic ik)

So i basically got 3 yeses ad one no (my mom) I'm scared shitless but oh well.

So i hope everything turns out ok mostly i heard is a good mood stabilizer and bad things like kidney damage and other things

I would like some advice and some suggestions cuz im still possible at all this

omg i took lithium last year for a couple of months and it really is a good mood stabilizer!! like, i felt stable for the first time in yearss, i felt normal. its not like i felt HAPPY, but my days were so much easier to deal with!! i think you should definitely give it a try!! at least in my country its not expensive, it doesnt take too long to start working and i didnt feel any side effects, like physiologically so i dont think its something to worry so much aboutt!!
i only took for a couple of months because my doctor moved to another city :(( but i really really want to start the treatment again because im almostkillingmyself
i feel like im giving you high hopes like lithium is the cure lol its not but you know it might work... i hope it works :D

My mom is basically against it cuz she said it's poison: likebshe said it affects the skin, kidneys and all of your body
Is it true?

not true, i mean if you keep up with your doctor right...and take the dose he prescripted. he might even request serum lithium level tests to monitor its concentration in your bloodstream (mine did this), any medication in high levels would affect your body

Good luck! I started Lithium 300MG over a month ago and it has helped with andiety a lot. I dont belive i am Bi Polar so not aure if that factors im. I dont want to go up in dosage for now as I'm worried about side effects.

I would suggest taking it at night and making sure you hydrate properly. Your doctor might also suggest frequent blood tests to monitor as toxicity can happen.
