Maybe I'm wrong somewhere, so if you draw conclusions based on my information, make sure to check it yourself. I learned some of the information through Chatgpt, so the probability of mistakes is high! If you notice misinformation, please point out my errors in the comments.
Why are you taking poison, is it for self-harm? For studying the effect of a small dose on my body. I want to make sure that everything works as it should. I studied the topic a bit, also talked with chatgpt, as I understood, strong symptoms may appear with a slight increase in dosage, that's why I didn't do tests above 250 mg. And I raised the dosage gradually, so everything turned out predictable.
Why so many tests? Because as I understood, strong poisoning symptoms can appear with a slight increase in dosage, for example 100-200mg - mild symptoms, 250-350 - strong poisoning may already occur. That's why I decided to increase the dosage gradually in order not to get strong poisoning.
(P.S. – Right now, Chatgpt says that if a lower dose caused mild symptoms, for example 250 mg, then a 350 mg dose would most likely cause moderate symptoms. But in my experience, many factors influence the symptoms, so the risk can vary.)
The point of the tests is to understand the effect of small dosages of nitrite with the goal of feeling the symptoms and confirming that nitrite works, and works specifically in my case (lowers blood oxygen level), that I have no problems when taking it and that everything will go as needed when I'm ready to take the full dosage.
About that sn should not be taken in small doses for tests, I read the whole megathread and separate posts from people who did it.
I noticed almost everyone made serious mistakes in such tests. Most just took it with a spoon without precise scales. With this amount it's very easy to get a lethal dosage of 1-4 grams.
And those who did measure it, they immediately took huge dosages of 0.5g etc., which will definitely cause strong symptoms (according to chatgpt).
It's also worth saying that the oxygen readings from a pulse oximeter are not accurate, because of the specifics of blood poisoning with nitrite. Up to 85% it can be wrong by 3-5%, and after that it can get stuck at that number, 85% (according to chatgpt and google).
Below are the tests in the order they were performed, between tests I took breaks from two days to two weeks so that the body could recover.
20 mg in a very small amount of water, after one hour of fasting – no symptoms, pulse oximeter shows normal readings, 96-98% oxygen and 65-75 pulse.
100 mg in a very small amount, after 2 hours of fasting – a stronger heartbeat was felt, possibly due to psychological factors or SN.
However, pulse and oxygen levels remained normal – 96–98% and 65–78 bpm.
150 mg after 3-4 hours of fasting in 250ml of water – stronger heartbeat appeared, and resting heart rate became 75-90, after 30 minutes spo2 was 94-95%, very light fog in the head. But I made a serious mistake, I did this test 30 minutes after a hot bath, and I already had elevated pulse after the bath, I measured it before taking sn, and it was also about 80-85. I think that the combination of the bath and sn amplified each other's effects. So I decided to redo a similar test without contaminating the results with a hot bath.
190 mg in 70 ml of liquid after 4-5 hours of fasting and half an hour without water.
Before intake – pulse 97-98 spo2 and 65-72. After 5 minutes – 96-95 spo2 and 85 pulse. 10 minutes – 95%, 88 pulse. From 14 to 52 minutes – 94-93% and pulse 80-90. At 62 minutes – 94-95%, 75-85 pulse. At 85 minutes – 95%, 85 pulse. Then I measured again after about 2 hours and it was around 96% and 75 pulse.
Sensations were very weak, I would say they could have been caused by anxiety and my expectation of these symptoms. I felt very light weakness and slight sluggishness. But the heart was beating strongly and I constantly felt the beats and couldn't stop hearing them, it was very noticeable. Another symptom was that the color of nails seemed about 10-20% more blue, with slight visible paleness.
250 mg in 70-100 ml after 3 hours of fasting.
Before intake – 98% and 68-75 pulse. After 6 minutes – 97-96%, 75-85 pulse. 10 minutes – 95%, 80-85%. From 15 to 45 minutes – 94%, 70-83 pulse. From 53 to 80 minutes – 95%, 65-75 pulse. At 112 minutes – 98%, pulse 65-70.
Strong sensation of heartbeats, constantly hearing heartbeat. After 20 minutes there was a peak – 93% spo2, at this point, I felt very light hypoxia.
170 mg in 50 ml, about 3 hours (but I don't remember exactly, maybe 2.5), sample number 2, different sn.
Before intake – 98%. At 10 minutes – 96%, 85 pulse. From 15 to 40 minutes – 95%, 80-85 pulse. At 50 minutes – 96-97%, 80 pulse.
Strong sensation of heartbeats, constantly hearing heartbeat.
I also got sodium nitrAte to compare it with nitrite.
250-300 mg of sodium nitrAte (not sn, nano3) in 100 ml, 4 hours of fasting, readings during the first hour were normal and did not differ from my standard indicators. spo2 97-98, rarely dropped to 96%. pulse 60-72.
The taste was a bit different, less acidic/sour than nitrite.
Conclusions:
1) The strongest effect was when I fasted for 5 hours with 190 mg sn. In general, I noticed the difference that 3-4 hours of fasting is less effective than 5. So fasting is very important.
But I want to clarify that the effect was not strong, just a slight difference from the normal state, the strongest thing of course was feeling the heartbeat, not that it was fast, but that I heard my heart all the time about 2-3 times louder than usual.
2) It acts very quickly, symptoms appear already after 5 minutes, and the peak effect of sn comes after 20 minutes, but it's unclear how it would be with full dose.
3) Overall I am satisfied with the results of the experiment, everything went as expected, and now I am sure that my sn works as it should.
