Hello!
I'm going to catch the bus in the forest. Maximum goal is no one ever can find me. But if no one can find me as long as it possible - it is also a good goal.
My method is OD. And I'm going to cover myself in some way. I need it because I want insects and maybe some impatient animals can't reach me before I will die. And for esthetical reasons for the first time.
So I have two options in my head. 1. A hammock with mosquito net. (Tent would be better, because I won't need to tie it to trees. But it much bigger than hammock, so I decided to choose hammock and tie it to dead trees not to harm alive ones). 2. To construct something from simple cotton blanket, sticks and gauze.
Pluses and minuses.
1. Hammock.
Pluses. It's in the air and tightly closed with mosquito net, so it will be tricky puzzle for insects and impatient animals to get me quickly. The substance into which my body will be transformed will be contained in an impermeable container (the hammock itself) (I guess, but it is not accurate, I need to discover the fabric). This will be good if someone still needs to transport this substance somewhere.
Minuses. It's not ecological way, because hammocks made from such fabrics as nylon etc. And if animals, that will want to eat me, will eat also and parts of that fabric it will be not good for their health. And I don't know maybe it will cause serious problems for them.
2. Cotton blanket, sticks and gauze.
Pluses. It's cheap. It's ecological.
Minuses. It will not be tightly closed from insects and not impermeable. But maybe repellent can help?
Yes. I can't avoid leaving small plastic parts like packaging from antiseptic, wipes or drugs. But I will put everything in backpack (also made from nylon unfortunately) or bag (from ecoleather).
So what are you thinking? Are you worried about ecological impact of your CTB on environment?
What is better? Hammock or blanket and gauze?
And is there any ecological way to leave a note for those who maybe will find me?
