Hello!

I'm going to catch the bus in the forest. Maximum goal is no one ever can find me. But if no one can find me as long as it possible - it is also a good goal.

My method is OD. And I'm going to cover myself in some way. I need it because I want insects and maybe some impatient animals can't reach me before I will die. And for esthetical reasons for the first time.

So I have two options in my head. 1. A hammock with mosquito net. (Tent would be better, because I won't need to tie it to trees. But it much bigger than hammock, so I decided to choose hammock and tie it to dead trees not to harm alive ones). 2. To construct something from simple cotton blanket, sticks and gauze.

Pluses and minuses.

1. Hammock.

Pluses. It's in the air and tightly closed with mosquito net, so it will be tricky puzzle for insects and impatient animals to get me quickly. The substance into which my body will be transformed will be contained in an impermeable container (the hammock itself) (I guess, but it is not accurate, I need to discover the fabric). This will be good if someone still needs to transport this substance somewhere.

Minuses. It's not ecological way, because hammocks made from such fabrics as nylon etc. And if animals, that will want to eat me, will eat also and parts of that fabric it will be not good for their health. And I don't know maybe it will cause serious problems for them.

2. Cotton blanket, sticks and gauze.

Pluses. It's cheap. It's ecological.

Minuses. It will not be tightly closed from insects and not impermeable. But maybe repellent can help?

Yes. I can't avoid leaving small plastic parts like packaging from antiseptic, wipes or drugs. But I will put everything in backpack (also made from nylon unfortunately) or bag (from ecoleather).

So what are you thinking? Are you worried about ecological impact of your CTB on environment?

What is better? Hammock or blanket and gauze?

And is there any ecological way to leave a note for those who maybe will find me?

OD on what? This is largely considered a non-method, unless you have street drugs or something.

You know most animals that would eat a person would either not be able to be stopped by something as flimsy as a thin barrier of any kind, or not be doing so until you've been dead a long time, right?

Plant like 5000 trees in a way where from a bird's eyes view, in 50 years, it will read your message.

I'm going to use amitriptyline. It's a good method. It must provoke cardiac arrest. Peacefulness of amitriptyline must be approximately like peacefulness of SN. And maybe even more peaceful if I will lost consciousness quickly. I prefer amitriptyline to SN because I won't need to fast so I can eat something tasty right before CTB. :) But I will need more time to die compared to SN. 🤷‍♀️

I could create goodbye thread, but there will be no internet in forest. 🤷‍♀️

I don't know. 🤷‍♀️ It will be good if it's like that. First of all I think about wolves.

:) I'm serious. A simple paper note written with a ballpoint pen doesn't look durable. And the same note in plastic bag is not cool... 🤷‍♀️ I just wanted to write those who will see this mess to be careful when looking into a hammock, for example. And if it's tourists, to ignore it and don't pay attention. And if it's, for example, a forester, I just wanted to apologize for the trash I left with me. 🤷‍♀️

Carved rock plates from ancient mesopotamia are still aroud today, you could just pull a Moise and carve your 10 stones of reasons why, doesnt cause any environmental damage exept like, big rocks now have ingravings.

i dont know how accurate this is but after a quick search i found that amitriptyline LD50 15 mg/kg so if you are 70kg its 15*70=1050mg and thats only 50/50 to work, if you use it regular then you have a higher chance to survive

Prescription medications
This method has a lot more nuance to it, as certain prescriptions have a high likelihood of lethality when taken in the right doses, while others have next to 0 chance. Generally, most prescriptions have a low chance of killing you. Psychiatric medications are the most discussed on this forum, and are also on the lower end of having any shot at killing you. Antidepressants vary in chance of killing you, though even the most toxic (tricyclics) have only about a 14% chance, not a very good statistic. At worst, certain antidepressants have only a 0.5% chance. Other medications, such as those taken for chronic conditions, vary wildly, however the list of those with a high chance of killing you is significantly shorter than the ones with little or moderate chance. Obviously it would be far too tedious to go and list off all of them.

Hello! Thank you for your participation and worrying. ) I am about 58-60 kg now, I guess. And I'm going to take 10 grams dissolved in water. :) And... I don't use it regularly. So it must kill me. :)

I think the most ecological way is to do it without a net or blanket. There aren't many insects that could harm you before you CTB. And afterward, they become the main agents of decomposition. It would be a full return to nature~

Leave a paper note in a glass bottle.
