While I do understand your point of view, I don't agree with it. Its hard to know exactly what a person is going though. Imho just because they have a low post count doesn't mean very much. No need to attach labels and bully them.
Many people just lurk and only interact in very specific moments where they have no other choice. Searching for something (desperately) doesn't say anything about their trustworthiness. Such things are impossible to measure from such limited interactions.
Trying to derive & decipher the person behind a user handle is impossible. Anyone can put on any mask they want.

There seems to be a lot of fear that a source might become known to an unwanted entity. Lets be realistic, any such entity will be able to locate these sources.

Of course anyone can decide for themselves whether they are comfortable sharing information with anyone privately.

I feel you. Me calling them untrustworthy was out of line. But on flip side how are they even going to know how to use it properly / safely (for our purpose) . I never see threads begging on how to use SN because they can't search. Not even one.
