Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

What does WPD stand for? I haven't figured out all the acronyms on this site yet.

Me too. I'm assuming it's some sort of gore website where people post their suicides?
I'd be way too chicken to watch something like that, lol.

Watch People Die

I saw one from Brazil (I think) that shook me up. It was well done in that he seemed to be unconscious quickly and it worked. I was ready to see that.

But the guy's son found him at the end of the video and cried out, "Papa!" I was not ready for that.

This acronym doesn't refer to anything related to CTB; rather, it indicates a website that is unpleasant for people with weak stomachs to view.

Not with WPD, but I had that experience with another gore site who specifically have an entire thread of photos and videos of hanged women. Not naked, or for fetish reasons... Just images from actual suicides, mostly from India.
But the one who broke my mind regarding hanging wasn't real hanging videos, it was a particularly site of 3d rendering hangings, this time with various artists representing dead people, mostly women, and generally naked. Why? Because in the internal lore of one of this artists, the world became so openly with suicide that isn't a crime to not saving someone from hanging and there are designated forests for that, and even "Kits". And some of you may be asking "What's your point?" well, my point is that my mind is still craving this stories, as if I wish to live in that fictional world that my suicide will not be judged. Sure, that artists are only by pleasing the fetishizing of erotic asphyxia but for some reason my brain took it as an ideal world when a hanged corpse in a wood is normal and that disturbed me permanently.

I think it's the opposite for me, I can't handle blood or gore at all, that's why I found this site, I was too much of a chicken to actually jump off a building or to hang myself, just that my life is genuinely not worth living

I saw that one, it was a hard watch. How could you do that in front of your kid. Apparently he also said "watch this" right before he did it (saw this translation in the comments, might be false). But still unbelievable cruel to the child.

I'm not sure I would describe it as psyching myself up by watching WPD; but I do use that site several times a week to remind myself of the finality of a successful CTB. I tend to get calmer and more deliberative. Watching hours of videos have also informed me to not do the deed at home, think or the mental health of those who will find me, and jumping is not for me.
