It's like someone gives live video of them playing a game or doing some other activities, except their "face cam" is a live animated character instead of their actual face. When I first learned about it, I thought it was cool in theory: people can do live video for a large audience without the inherent lack of privacy that comes with showing your face to the internet.
But when I looked more into it, a lot of the people who do this are kind of creepy and off-putting. Not sure how to describe it
