Please read and help.

Soon my mom will be going on a cruise, in a month. The only time I will be alone to do it.

I plan on going to Walmart and getting a bag of 16lbs of kingsford charcoal and a chimney starter.

I will do it in my jeep. I think 16lbs will be way more than enough. According to my research the interior is around 110 square feet.

Can anyone confirm this will be enough?

I'm thinking I will use either steel pails (if Walmart has them) or clay pots.

I'm really feeling bad I won't be there to pick her up at the airport, that will immediately tell her something is wrong.

I plan on doing it in my driveway, houses are very close (a little worry someone will see me - but I will do it at night and most people typically keep to themselves and the driveways are between houses so it's more concealed).

I'm really hoping someone sees my body before she gets home, but I feel I need to do it the night before she gets home as we have two dogs that I don't want to be without care for days.

My life is completely destroyed by my own doing - I'm unemployed, broke, in massive debt, and afraid I'm going to be dealing with legal problems.

I will destroy her world - but I can't keep destroying her world alive by having her support me with the little money she has and how it will break her if indeed I have legal problems (idk I do).

Did he really pass? I saw another thread he did as he hasn't been around since.
I private messaged him the day after the post, then again 4 days later, no reply. I think he passed

It makes me sad - but if that's what he wanted and needed, I'm glad he's at peace.

I cry everyday feeling sorry for myself, as I would if I saw someone else passed by CTB. I imagine how I would feel seeing myself passed - that's why I worry about my mom so much - but honestly it's better for both of us.

Thanks for the info.

I hope there's a small chance you can work something out, all the best.

Does anyone know how well and how necessary it is to seal the car up - aren't cars pretty air tight to the point the CO won't leak to a point to affect the accumulation PPM?

Seal up all vents as best as you can

Is that's all that's necessary? I'm afraid because it's a jeep wrangler with a removable roof and I'm afraid there will be more air leaks than a normal vehicle.

I'm afraid this alone will cause failure.

I'm sorry but I wouldn't take the chance... Co poisoning is no joke and will absolutely fuck you up if you survive

Have you considered using a tent?
Problem is I can't use a tent in my backyard - the houses are very close together with small yards and somebody will definitely notice that especially in the middle of freezing winter. I have nowhere else to go in my area either where the cops wouldn't patrol and find it.

I actually googled it and there are quite a few stories of people in jeep wranglers getting stuck in the mud and being found dead from the CO from the blocked exhaust filling the cabin.

I believe they had soft tops though and I have a hard top which probably doesn't seal as well.

But I figure if they died from the car exhaust alone (which they claim isn't possible anymore with catalytic converters) and simply being stuck in the mud - proactively producing co by using an over abundance of charcoal probably would greatly outweigh the concentration in the cab.

Have you thought about doing the tent inside or maybe drive somewhere to do it?

Get a CO analyser and test for leakages

that's why it's imperative to test your setup with a CO analyser.
All the co analyzers only goto 1000ppm I've seen - is that enough?
