Obease. Then lowered to overweight. Now obese again, though most people say they don't visually see it.

Short person, healthy weight for my height is 125-135lb. I gained a lot of weight after quitting therapy that pushed me into suicidal thinking even more as a teenager as mass eating ended up becoming my coping mechanism. I'm talking, I eat breakfast, then bring half sized meals to eat in multiple classes, then eat lunch, another half sized meal, eat a meal when I get home, eat a meal at dinner, and eat a meal before sleeping. I genuinely do not encourage anyone to do what I did and I'm genuinely surprised I didn't get weight releated illnesses.

Was 190lb and at one point almost 200lb in 2022 when I decided to lose weight. Dropped to 170lb in 2023, 155lb in 2024. I'm gained weight up to 175lb again in 2025 because I lost a friend I deeply cared for in January and take/took weed almost daily and had the munchies and back in the obesity zone.

Now I'm 167-168lb and trying to shed it off again, not taking weed led to withdrawal symptoms, one being literally no appetite which helped shed 5lbs so far. I really want to hit normal weight and extremely self conscious of photos and mirrors. I think I should be able to. I just need to stop eating more than a meal a day and keep up with vitamins nd electrolytes. I just need to not make a friend ever again or else I'll probably go back to stuffing my face when they inevitably leave me.

Yes I am overweight. But no matter what I do, I can't seem to lose the weight. Must be my age. Sigh. That, and the fact that I am an alcoholic.

I have the opposite problem. I am very skinny and always need to tell people to leave me alone that I am not anorectic (or how its spelled..)

Dude I have no idea what happened down the line…

In early childhood I found the act of eating so tedious but as I grew older I became greedy as fuck

It got especially bad during Covid and in Highschool there was a lot more freedom for me to get greasy snacks

In my sophomore and junior year I discovered water fasting and edtwt which made everything so much worse and I developed a b&r cycle

I only lost 20lbs within a year and gained it back + some

I've started taking the gym a lot more seriously but I still struggle with binging, it's really hard when food has become your main coping mechanism (I know it's an excuse but hey this is SaSu not Instagram don't come at with me with that "discipline" shit💀)

It doesn't start kicking in until you're 40 tbh, unless you're like honey boo boo sized. The most a lot of young fatties get is high c.
I'm not really fit, but not overweight either. Kinda sorta chubby and flabby but I still can see my feet when standing so I guess I'm okay.
This means that most of your weight is comprised of fat rather than lean muscle and you probably need more protein

Eh, I don't mind. 90% of my problems come from the brain rather than the body. Besides, I don't mind how I look. There are always someone who likes the dad bod.
