Lately I have noticed more and more on social media how many people express their frustration at not getting a job after a certain age. It seems that we are facing a paradox where if you have many university degrees, it will be difficult for you to find a job since many companies know that hiring you means paying you a high salary and they will reject you telling you that you are overqualified for the job and they will prefer to hire young people who accept miserable salaries. In turn, those same young people will have problems making ends meet and this cycle repeats itself and only gets worse.

Despite all this, I still maintain my position that human longevity should be shortened to avoid pain and suffering.
