To be clear this isn't my method, I was just agreeing with you before. I used amitriptyline for a long time and now have no real reason to go with this cocktail. The ideal antiemetic is a dopamine-antagonist antiemetic like metoclopramide due to its double efficacy at higher doses. More effective at stopping the actual mechanism of vomiting induced by ingestion of drugs or other agents as opposed to, say, motion sickness.

Promethazine is best because besides be an anticholinergic and antihistaminic have antidopaminergic action. Also have all the cardiotoxicity that u find on TCA's. I take amitriptyline for a long time too, and after 3 attempts I will never fuck with it again. But if anyone will, I'm giving all informations I have to help anyone be successful.
