Would taking tramadol make the night night method more comfortable?

Whenever I've done the night night method it does hurt a little bit because of how tight the ratchet strap goes, would taking a heavy dose of tramadol ease this pain? It doesn't hurt too much but I would like to ctb as comfortably as possible. Cheers
