Worst Part About CTB?

I think there are three parts to CTB that are hard for people:

1. Overcoming SI
2. Getting things ready to leave (notes, finances, etc.)
3. Actually getting the materials

What do ya'll think the hardest one is?

Yep, not easy is it. They are all hard for me.

For me the hardest part is after i have the noose tightened on my neck to push the ladder away and hang there fully. This will be the most difficult part in my attempt. I think even with alcohol it'll be extremely difficult.

All of the above. Also, there's always that lingering fear of failure. Breaking my mother's heart and leaving her devastated is also one of them.

A lot of people care what happens to family and friends when they decide to ctb. But for me it doesn't exactly matter , you'll be gone and you don't have to worry about anything anymore including all of the extra sultuff after your death.

I'd say the hardest part of ctb is the SI because your body isn't supposed to actually kill itself, it does everything it will to survive.

For me it's the fact that I'm so cruelly denied the option to peacefully cease existing that is guaranteed which is what traps me in this cruel, torturous existence I just always saw as a mistake, all I wish and hope for is to be gone.

I just want to never suffer in this cruel existence ever again, it's just so horrific to me how we exist in this anti-suicide world where the suffering and torture of existing is seen as to force and prolong no matter what even know it all just leads to decay and death anyway with no limit as to how much one can be tortured, existence truly is an abomination to me and I'd always prefer to not exist no matter what than be burdened with this existence that just causes harm and suffering torturing existing beings so unnecessarily.

I think most of them is going to be hard to overcome, but if i had to chose one, i'll pick SI. Cause most of the time you dont know how SI is going to prevent your attempt to kill yourself, my guess is that i had to wait until my life has became so unbearable, so i can overcome SI

Fear of failing the attempt and ending up in a worse situation and, fear of experiencing the sensation of dying- the likely pain and fear. I guess some will argue that is covered under SI but, I tend to see SI as more of a knee jerk fear and avoidance of danger response- which I'm sure will also be there.
