I've always felt like I was averse to work since I was a child.

I didn't do things simply because they took effort, and since I don't have many natural talents everything took effort. Additionally, it caused me to not be good at anything later in life. For example, lots of kids who started practicing sports or instruments from a young age are quite good at them by the time they turn adults. But only now do I feel like I want to put in the effort to learn these things, unfortunately at a time when I'm busy and where learning is harder.

Does anyone relate?

Yes, I can relate. My whole life, for me to achieve anything it has required a large amount of effort, generally more than other people. I have always easily gave up on things. I've always lacked motivation and interest.
