Cardboard to make up for the newspaper issue? Sounds like a good idea to try.

Where do you plan on doing this? And based on your previous posts I'm not sure you fully understand this method. You mentioned pouring water on the coals which is not correct, you will extinguish them. The water goes under the pan that you move the coals to so it draws heat down. If you burn the coals inside with you you will choke on smoke and most likely abort. And don't do this where others can be harmed like in the bathroom if you live with other people. Do more reading it only took me about an hour to fully understand the method. Pulling it off is another story. If done correctly you should pass out quickly but as with all methods you should leave many hours that you know you won't be found. I think your panicking and rushing.
