Lately I can't find a reason to live; everything feels so absurd and meaningless. Every time I see people, I feel so useless, seeing how everyone else is moving forward while I don't even have a reason to live. I feel so stupid, I can't last in jobs, I can't even be in crowds, I just get a headache. The only good thing in my life is my partner and my friends. I can't think about anything else. They're at university and I can't even get a job. I feel like a parasite. I can't die just thinking about the people who will suffer because of my stupid death. I desperately want to find a reason to live.

The only good thing in my life is my partner and my friends.

It works for me so maybe it will work for you. Tho i'm not sure if word "works" is correct one. It's more like an anchor or a chain that keeps me here. The only reason i allow myself to steal some oxygen is that i still have some use for my fam. If that's gone - i'm going to forever sleep.

There is no reason to stay alive. It's an arbitrary choice people make based on nothing more than their feelings.

There's another thread about natural selection. And how it hasn't taken us out. For those of us like OP that are questioning why to be here I don't think we would have existed in the past. The fight to survive was more brutal. I don't think we would've made it very far. It's kind of strange to think about. We're the first people like this.

A lot of us feel like something has changed to in the world. It doesn't seem worth fighting for. Everything seems so fake and soulless.

I feel the same way to be honest. Lately my friend has gotten better after some intense therapy and effort on his part. I couldn't help but feel a bit hopeless seeing as I don't have half his motivation and for me it's seems almost impossible to fully recover.. Still i'm happy for him that atleast he got the better end of the stick.

But if you desperately want a reason to live then maybe you could try out new things. Who knows maybe you'll find something that you'll be passionate about! Either way I hope that you'll find your peace, alive or dead. (*^^*)/~(sending love<3)~
