Why Isn't Nembutal More Popular Today?

Why are fentanyl and carfentanil recommended so much less often than Nembutal?

They're sold a lot on the darknet. Aren't they just as effective and painless as Nembutal? Carfentanil is supposed to be much more potent than Nembutal (or anything else, really); it's been used to euthanize elephants, for example.

Carfentanil sold a lot on dw, I haven't seen any on dark web.

Due to a number of factors, most notably that there is no market for it. For one, ever since much safer benzos were brought to market, doctors basically stopped prescribing barbiturates, leaving a tiny market for it.

Two, it's a niche drug - almost all drug abusers out there are not looking for Nembutal or any other barb. Drug pushers on the DW are in business to make money. They aren't going to go out of their way to provide something people don't want - especially when they'd be risking providing this drug to people who want it to ctb. They don't want the heat.

The only commonly available barb is thiopental, and unless you are adept at placing IVs and an infusion kit, it's entirely unrealistic. You pass out within just a few seconds of injecting it IV, so there isn't enough time to get the amount you need in to your system - you lose consciousness before you get that far. Propofol is the same way. And even if you attempted this, missing the vein can cause necrosis and severe pain.

Bottom line it's entirely unrealistic. According to Exit Intl, they have not once seen someone obtain legitimate Nembutal from the dark web - not even once. They did have the "peanut project" where Exit tried to synthesize Pentobarbital on their own, however there are no details about it because they got in trouble with Australian authorities for doing this. You have to have the precursor barb acid to do this and it's highly controlled and impossible to get your hands on, assuming you have a chemistry background and had the equipment and know how to even synthesize it.

Because all the government care about is money, many young people wanna die, if young people are dying, there won't be enough money to pay retirement benefits for the elder folks, and for the elder folks, i don't get it why government makes it so hard for them to die peacefully like it's freaking crime, the only person they kill is themselves, is that wrong??

I think the answer is access, but I feel like we could petition to the Darknet to get this produced. I don't know how but I'd try to figure it out if we had enough people interested. It seems like a much more peaceful way to die. I found out about it by watching this TedTalk:



It turned out to be the guy that published The Peaceful Pill handbook, and all he talked about was Nembutal: "Dr Nitschke has written extensively in the area of voluntary euthanasia and assisted suicide including two books, Killing Me Softly: Voluntary Euthanasia and the Road to the Peaceful Pill published by Penguin and The Peaceful Pill eHandbook published by Exit International USA."
