Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I agree. Most people don't have access to clear information, so try methods that aren't clearly thought out.Too many are impulsive attempts and whit methods mostly seen in movies or heard about in the media. Like painkillers, sleeping pills , self harm and many more. And I think a suicide attempt is any self harm attempt that you did it while trying to kill yourself even though the method be very likely to not kill you but because you had the intention it's a suicide attempt.
Even this forum where there are thousands of resources to learn everything in detail still has plenty of people ending in the hospital for trying whit much less SN then recommended or ignoring different details for other methods too. It's hard to be cold blooded when you're actually going for it.
totally agree, i never understood why being alive is such a great deal, especially if you turn into a vegetable. The reason it's that high is because most people make impulsive attempts with unsound methods. A big part of the reason for this website is harm reduction, but people that criticize this website won't tell you that. They rather have people turn into a vegetable than make a solid attempt.

1/6 assuming each had only 1 attempt so it's somewhat higher
I'm almost 40, only 10 more to go to be even more dejected. This is part of why I haven't actually attempted again (first time was when I was 14, and I didn't know what I was doing so nothing happened like I thought it would).
I hate being alive and I'm constantly afraid that one day I'll be 50 and realize nothing ever got better and I spent decades crying out for something to get better, but what scares me even more than that is following through with an attempt only for it to severely disfigure or disable me. I would feel even more "trapped" in that state.
I can imagine how that must feelI'm almost 40, only 10 more to go to be even more dejected.
yeah.
We tell ourselve each decade that things will go better.
haha.
