Discussion Why did your full suspension hanging failed?

I am planning to ctb by full suspension hanging. I want to know what all can go wrong. If you attempted it and failed, kindly post your experience here. Also mention what went wrong. Your inputs are highly appreciated.

i have the same question, what can go wrong except rope breaks or be found to early. it is really sure that ones will die after kicking away the stool or whatever? does it matter where the noose is? front or sode or back? i think in worst case the cartilage in the neck breaks and that would be a horrible pain while you are choking during be awake. maybe only the jugulars are blocked and you also get the exploding head.
you will die in this case too but.... maybe 10 minutes the worst state you cant imagine before.

it is not possible to practice that because if you do not kick the stool away you would break up the attempt before it will go extremly horrible.

Please explain how you arrived at the 10 min estimation. Why would not every blood vessel get squeezed?

In full suspension your heart my beat for up to 30 minutes, but you would have gone unconscious long before that. If the blood vessels are not squeezed shut buy the rope, the lack of oxygen would cause you to black-out rather quickly.
