Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

For me I'm thinking maybe spring, but I don't know when in spring. I think spring is the best time since in the summer in most areas it can be extremely hot, and personally I want my last moments to be comfortable. The problem with fall and the winter is the holidays. Personally I don't want to wreck anyone's holiday, and doing it in spring lets me spend one last moment with whomever (that or re-enforce why I want to off myself).

For those who have some date in mind, what is your roundabout date?

I think this is different for everyone. I would prefer to ctb during winter and the month of December because I think that's the most beautiful time of the year.

I agree with that being looks wise the best time. And before this year, I was thinking dead of the winter. But I started thinking about things. I don't want to be a problem. And wrecking a few people's holiday (my parents, maybe the cops, and maybe a handful of unknown) seems like being a problem. I know there is no way around making people sad. But why take away more than I have to?

With all that being said, January might be a good month. It's still cold, but there isn't any holidays nearby.

Assuming I don't just say screw it & do it sooner, I find a good place to die, and I still want to. That might be the month when I do it. But if I had my method ready, days like today would make it my last.

I don't think there is ever a perfect time to ctb unfortunately

I agree to a point. It isn't something to be celebrated or whatever. But I think you can make it less painful for others if you think about how a given time will impact others.

Can't say I've ever really thought about it. I figured that whenever I truly decided to ctb, I'd just go and do it. Waiting/hesitating will eventually lead to waiting until I've reached that peak again. So far...hasn't worked out for me. Got to experience a marriage...then quickly after divorce. Got to experience my teeth crack long before they should due to stress/genetics/poor hygiene when horribly depressed. Extreme sciatica is a fun one as well. I think the next time I decide to ctb, I'm just going to head off into the wilderness and do it.
