Whats your method of choice and why?

Mine is SN. I've considered a gun and hanging but I'm not sure I can do through with those.

I keep seeing SN, what's SN? Also I'd probably choose hanging cause its the easiest, least messiest, and in my personal experience pretty peaceful and quick.

Probably hang just due to privacy but jumping from height (e.g. a cliff) in a non-urban area would be perfect (not possible for me!)

I'm going for hanging, but finding a place outside that's hidden from others, accessible, strong enough to hold my weight and doesn't allow me to touch the ground is rather difficult to find. I found a couple trees on a decently hidden slope, but one of them allows me to touch a tree stump and the other one requires climbing.
I don't have access to SN or a gun and I do not believe I'd be able to go through with jumping. A method I considered for a while when I had no access to a rope was the train, but I'll try to avoid that.

Not yet settled on one but have always been drawn to cliff jumping, just SI is ridiculous. Possibly the salty cocktail or finally hanging. I need something "uncomplicated" due to my mad brain cell.

Guns are Definitely the right choice to CTB with. Specifically shotguns. The lethality rate with shotguns is 95%, and the 5% who survive are people who don't know how to aim.

I dont trust overdosing methods, my body can resist such. There are no high buildings in my city, I cannot gain access to firearms in my country. Train is my method, when I lay neck on train tracks, it will behead me. It is gory yes, but it is certain.

I have done a few rounds of partial and I straighten up and readjust as needed. If I ever switch to full, I plan to start leaning into the rope while still on the stool and make sure I have it right, then push off.

I wouldn't be so keen on that perspective. I don't doubt your facts, but sometimes fact is stranger than fiction. I had an incident a few years ago. A gentleman was trying to ctb, and put the barrel under his chin and sent it. His jaw absorbed so much of the energy that when the shot got to his upper palette, the roof his mouth, is was projected out instead of up. Blew the entire lower half of his face off, but he was alive, conscious, and breathing. He survived.

But you get closer and the river is freezing and the air has cooled and now you're just left with unpalatable dirty water.

For me it'd be one as peaceful and painless as possible as all I wish for is the peace of an eternal sleep where this dreadful, torturous existence is all gone, forgotten and finally no longer my problem.

I always suffer so much from how I cannot just have a death like never waking ever again, I see so much cruelty in how we exist in this horrific anti-suicide world where the suffering and torture of existing is seen as to force and prolong no matter what, it's all just so cruel, all I want is to peacefully cease existing in an guaranteed way and finally be free from this existence I always saw as such a cruel mistake.

Of course I'm afraid of failure, which is why I'll probably keep on searching for the perfect spot even if it may take forever. I just have no other method which would be more reliable.

it was supposed to be inert gas with helium (as my username says lol) but after more research, SN seems much better, easier and cheaper. might change my name to "nitritegirl" now

Mine is VAD if things work out. It is peaceful, reliable, and not impulsive. Also the organization takes care of the after matter.

I've tried partial hanging, night-night method, and overdosing on medications in the past. All of which were painful and very uncomfortable. The ideal method for me would be something instant and painless, like getting hit by a train or jumping from somewhere high enough to kill me instantly.

I have 4 ideas. Nothing is settled.

If politics where I live get really bad for trans people and I need a quick exit, I'm definitely going for a belt from my pullup bar again because I feel like that was the closest I ever got and I can actually do that quickly.

I would love to go out in the arms of lady morphine, but realistically I'd probably end up abusing my stash before attempting OD. Plus I have no current source and fent is not an acceptable alternative for me. Most people know I've abused drugs in the past, so it could also be ambiguous if it was an accidental OD or not.

Everyone knows I'm into camping, so I could probably "lose" my actual gear in a ravine or something on a chilly night and try to suffocate myself in one of those emergency mylar bivies after taking some sleeping pills that I'm currently trying to aquire for my "insomnia." I really like this one because it could plausibly look like an accident.

In Geo's book he describes building a coffin that props open until you pass out from drugs. Then the lid closes and suffocates you. It just seems poetic to die in your own coffin. And I've always wanted to build a coffin and carve my own headstone. This is definitely not possible in the near future because I don't have the energy or brain power to figure out how to construct this while in a depressive episode.
