Escape From New York
or the Phantasm series.
Actually, there are many.
The more recent stuff has been so dull that I hardly remember any.

Life is Beautiful. It's an Italian film, I think it's the first foreign actor to win an Academy Award. It's about a man and his son in World War 2 who get sent to a concentration camp and all throughout it the father because he cares about his son he turns it into this like whole happy, fun, game thing he presents the concentration camp is like a big amusement park. One of the only movies you should have on DVD for that, is Life is Beautiful just because to me the ability to do that, to take life because life throws all kinds of stuff at you it's the struggle of humans.

Second place is a toss up between Unforgiven or Seven Samurai. Both of those films are flawless IMHO. My favorite movie genre is westerns.

Of course in the top ten:
- Spirited Away
- Alien & Aliens
- Terminator 2
- The Big Lebowski
- Taxi Driver
- Leon the Professional
- Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
- ect, ect. too many to list…

The Shawshank Redemption. It cheered me up and helped me get through a really rough time in my life, and for that I am eternally grateful to this film.

The Japanese movie Blue Spring/Aoi Haru/é’ć„ę˜„ from 2001. It has an absolutely amazing soundtrack by the punk band Thee Michelle Gun Elephant and it features some beautiful cinematography.

I'm more into tv shows but... if I have to name specifically a movie, "Smokey & The Bandit" would be one of my favorites. Another favorite is "Mad Max" with Mel Gibson.

i think i always say mysterious skin, dir. greg araki. it's definitely a tough watch though - it's a haunting film.

other than that, probably zero day dir. ben coccio. :]

I'd be hard pressed to pick an absolute favorite as there's so many good ones that are good for entirely different reasons. I can say though that mad max fury road has a very special place in my heart, because it helped keep me sane during a very rough part of my life. it seems silly to say without any context, but that's too long of a story to retell lmao
