What's something you want to tell yourself in your next life?

In some schools of thought, we re-incarnate and keep on suffering until we learn the lesson we're meant to learn.
When you die or CTB, it acts a reset and you just suffer again until you learn said lesson.

I don't know how much I buy into the above... but if it's true I'd rather CTB now and repeat a less painful 20 years until the pain starts to set in again as it's almost unbearable rn.

If there was a lesson I wish I could drill into the head of my next life, it would be to love yourself/your body no matter how anyone treats you or what societal ideals are. I should have been the only one who has influence over how much you love yourself.

In a re-incarnation scenario, what's a "lesson" you think that would prevent some of the suffering that you have endured?

To be grateful. For happiness and the other things I used to take for granted. And to not fall into negative thinking. My depression started with a lot of negative cynical thinking when I was in middle school, I'd like to avoid falling into that. I hope my next life is good, I just want to be happy.

There's nothing that I want to say to my next life. Even if reincarnation is real and I reincarnate into a human for my next life, I honestly don't care. It wouldn't affect my current life at all as, from the perspective of my current life, my current life is at peace as my current life is over. My next life would just be a clean slate as, even in the theory of reincarnation, people have no memories of their previous lives hence their next life may as well be a clean slate rather than a continuation of the previous life

If you are human, buy a shotgun. if you are an animal, try to drown yourself or get eaten. If you are a sentient creature do what needs to be done but in the back of your mind focus on dying. Always do the right thing, take a deep breath, work on trauma, get therapy.

Pick a creative discipline, study formally, and stick with it. Start immediately.

I could make up lost time and do that now but I'm tired and have no energy. Had I poured my time into studying a discipline instead I'd probably be if not happier at least more productive and creatively fulfilled.
