whats being investigated when you complete suicide?

so far i know for sure they look through text messages, check for notes, and from news articles i know they look through internet history. would they look through files on your personal laptop, or camera roll? idk if anyone has any info on this it would be appreciated. i also know they will find someone who knows you to confirm your body is you. how much effort would they spend in snooping?

i think it's safe to assume they will go through all of your belongings. investigators can't just outright go "yeah this guy killed himself" they have to rule out the potential that it was a homicide or foul play

thanks all for the link, it is exactly what i was looking for. my multi-quote isn't working but to reply to voc_89, i would rather have planned out my death than go impulsively. i care about not giving ignorant people the information to twist about this forum in my name. seems like the best solution is to physically destroy devices and use a VPN before that.
