Discussion what would you miss if you CTB?

i really love playing video games and watching shows, so it saddens me that theres gonna be so many of them i wont get to experience. i know it might sound silly, i see a lot of people on here say that they're upset they'll miss out on bigger things like traveling the world, or falling in love, but for me immersing myself into fictional worlds helps me get through the day like nothing else. once i ctb and wont be able to watch my favorite shows anymore, i hope that some of u can turn on a good show that can make you feel just a little bit better in my place ^-^

Omg this is the exact thing I'm the most sad about! I'm gonna miss season 3 of Love on the Spectrum. And I honestly even debated waiting until it comes out, but I can't wait that long so I'm gonna miss it unfortunately. I also really love video games and I'm gonna miss all of the next Life is Strange games, but honestly am glad I caught the very last ones. Also kind of upset I'll miss any new video games and won't be able to watch anymore again. This was my favorite part of living, and genuinely breaks my heart. But it's just time for me to go.

I sometimes wonder this too. I also love films and games. I wonder what will come out in the future that I might have enjoyed. Not sure any of them would compensate for having to be alive and pay my way to see them though. Plus, that would eventually happen after natural death also.

Other things: like the smell after it rains. Looking out at beautiful scenary. Enjoying nice food. Listening to music. Life's had some nice elements certainly but, distraction isn't enough to make it worthwhile- for me.

there really are some very beautiful distractions out there. im glad ive gotten to experience them, but i feel the same way. unfortunately it just isnt enough to make me able to stick around

nothing really, i spent most of the time watching YouTube but I don't find it enjoyable and it doesn't make life worth living I also spent time playing video games (final fantasy and resident evil ) it's a distraction for me , I still want to end it all to this day .

I'd personally be so relieved to be permanently free from this torturous, futile existence where I'm just waiting to die anyway, all I hope and wish for is to be permanently unconscious incapable of suffering where all is gone and forgotten about and this existence is finally no longer my problem. I see it as something so dreadful to be enslaved in this existence of pointless suffering with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, for me ceasing to exist is the way to find peace from the abomination of existence.

I'll always see it as such a terrible mistake to suffer in this existence and the fact that this existence was even imposed is a tragedy to me, non-existence is all I hope for, it'd solve everything for me in this existence that just causes suffering all for the sake of it and problems there were never a need for, the thought of suffering for much longer just to die in agony from old age is so horrific and unbearable to me, I always have so much dread for what lies ahead, I just want to never exist ever again.

I'm the same honestly. I always thought it was silly of me that I'd miss video games and shows the most. I was looking forward to some releases this year, but I just can't stick around for them. Other than that, I'm gonna miss cold weather and my cats. I'll also miss my family and friends, but it's more a guilty feeling I have towards that aspect.

nah i feel ya. there are so many games i wanna play, so many tv shows/movies i wanna watch. i'd like to stick around to cross them off of my to-do list but eh, i'll just have to deal with the fact that i'll miss out on everything.

So many stories that I haven't read or played yet, and by that I mean I will miss books and games. I love stories very much, they are the perfect escape from the physical world, they are a place where I can be myself and not get backstabbed for fun. Some TV shows were fun too but I think that there are less good ones these days. I will miss music as well. Not much else though, physical experiences are usually tainted by the existence of humans.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really into lost media, and especially lostwave.

If I were to CTB now, I'd probably miss some songs getting identified. Not really a good enough reason for me to stay, though.

To be honest, I think I'd miss my younger sister. She just turned four recently and when I think of her face realizing that I'm gone it breaks my heart. I raised her myself since she was a newborn since my mother was always busy with work. Whenever I come home from my job or weeklong visits out of state with my boyfriend, she shouts my name and gives me such tight hugs. Nobody is ever happy to see me, I'm just 'there,' but when my little sis sees me it's like she just opened a Christmas present containing some kind of toy she's always wanted. I know she'll probably grow out of that feeling someday, but it feels good to know at least she cares about me. I'd already planned on moving out of state for college, but in the back of my mind I think of how far away I'd be from her. Idk. The strangest thing about this feeling is that I can only feel this way about her and sometimes my mother. I feel like it keeps me at bay. It feels like a weakness or a threshold. Excuse my ranting haha

speaking of video games, i think thats the thing I'm gonna miss too. i guess ill miss out on GTA6. but I'd miss out on it anyway even if i didn't ctb (cmon rstar...).

I'm also gonna miss out on some spectacular astronomical events, since it's one of the very few things i actually take passion in, more precisely astrophotography.
