• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

100k isn't all that much, you could blow through that in a couple months potentially.

I'd give it to my mother so she has enough money to live after I'm dead. I can't travel because I'm physically ill so money is of no use to me. I'd want her to have it.
same, still suicide for me.

100K is a nice chunk of money, but it's not life-changing either... I'd probably invest it.
If it was 500k-1M, then I'd use it to move out and buy a small house in the countryside or a condo in a beautiful place and live comfortably. I'd probably delay ctb for a few years.

I think it depends on how you define life-changing. For me 100K would be incredibly life-changing. It would provide some security while I try out some new career things without feeling like my back is constantly against the wall.

It's not life-changing in the sense that you don't have to work anymore or anything like that, but it could really provide a truly fresh start.

fly to mexico and get n
same- but id be happy knowing I could leave the rest of the funds to my friends- and they could have a massive party for my wake.
100k is NOTHING these days...I could spend it in five mins. What? you can buy a really shit apartment in a place quite shitty? However, if you were to change that number to several million ..yes, for me it would probably completely change things and make me want to live.
to some people that is a significant amount- & enough to be life changing- it depends on an indivuals circumstance-if id had that even a year or so ago that would have significantly changed my life & reduced strong anxiety and stress- but due to having a severe breakdown it wouldnt help now- and yet I think that amount would have stopped it happening previously- as money worries effected & spread into every single aspect of my life.

wow - really? in a couple of months?! thats insane- I would live on that for 5 ys or more actually- in fact I used to do so !!

I would get a plane ticket to get to my LDR (long-distance relationship) partner and at least get to have a look at her in real life. She recently dumped me because I sent her something so horrible (not cheating material). I could only pay for my sin by just swallowing the consequence that she's happier with an actual person that she can actually touch and stuff. Just a day after she dumped me, She already started having hickeys with his new partner and it devastated me. I still really love her and I still want to be hers

100K in US dollars is a large sum of money for many of us not in western countries. I could use the money to give myself another shot at life. But before that I'll pamper my parents.

It's a huge sum of money no matter where you are, I think it's just about context. No, you can't retire on it or start living a totally lavish lifestyle or something like that. But that kind of money could take away a ton of anxiety and stress from life. That's really all I want when it comes to money. Just relief, not having to worry about it constantly.

I wonder how many of these repliers indicating that they wouldn't ctb if they obtained the cash, are confused why mainstream society, will NEVER legalise euthanasia just for depression ect.

You COULD obtain this amount of money. It's not even ridiculously unlikely that it would happen...
You need to seriously reconsider your stance on suicide if running into 6 didgits would turn everything around for you...
It's actually kind of absurd to see. Are a majority of the replies just kids who didn't try in school and now feel like they're done? I don't know, but it's honestly super frustrating.

If you don't have any mental illnesses or are good at making money, maybe it's not unlikely to run into that kind of money. We're all probably open to ideas if you have any.
