• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

is it as painful as pro-lifers claim it to be?

From some of the threads I've read here, it can be as your full weight is squeezing your neck. How quickly unconsciousness comes varies. If the rope cuts the blood from the carotids it can be faster than if it just cuts off breathing.

I've watched some full suspension hanging vids. they stop thrashing and moving around fairly quickly when they step off of whatever platform they were standing on, after that…….nothing.

I've seen mixed reports. You will find survivors accounts going either way.

Some people are found with scratches around the ligature where they attempted to free themselves. You also have the history of execution by hanging where there was a gradual move away from short drop (off a chair etc.) to long drop (snaps your neck). The move was intended to make it more humane by limiting suffering.

Pain is subjective but you can find out how painful it is for you.
Put the noose around your neck, throw the rope over a horizontal beam, hold the other end of the rope with your hands and than bent your knees untill you hang. When you pass out you will fall on the ground which should therefore be very soft. This way you can experiment with the rope thickness and find out how fast you pass out.
