Discussion what made you join SaSu?

What made me join, specifically, was curiosity from that one tentacruel video, in a not the best time in my life. I once similiarly joined the incel forums (yeah, I know)

HOWEVER, joining and staying are very different things. The resources here are incredible. I first thought that I could have an out with 1,4-BDO, but then reading testimonies here I learned you needed a LOT of the drug at such nauseating quantities that it was unfeasible. I remember a woman here taking like 3-4x what medical literature said was lethal and still failing to CTB.

And, the community here is quite unique. Here people can be very raw but also very supportive and I value that a lot. It's not a place I want to stay forever, whether I catch or miss the bus, but I'm glad is here in the now when I need it most, at my lowest.

Plus, I used to be a forum kid back a decade ago. I like forums, personal enough to have conversations in threads if I so desire, or just post in general, getting to know people slowly unlike more anonymous website (like reddit) but also not needing to be too personal with DMs, which I struggle a lot with (like instagram). I like the forum games too.

What made me join? Researching and finding a method. Thankfully, I was able to acquire SN in June.
What made me stay? SaSu is a lot more than expected, the community has been my lifeline, especially during pre-SN months. A lot has changed since and I'm not in a hurry anymore. The plan is just about finalised for when I'm ready and may need to say goodbye.

Same, I joined to make more progress on acquiring SN but I am really starting to enjoy the community here. I lurk on Reddit a lot but never participate since it feels like people have zero empathy there and there are so many bots. Here it feels like talking to people can actually make a positive difference and you can tell you're interacting with humans.
